Green Loans - $175 Million Fiasco

Labor’s $175 million ‘Green Loans’ program will be audited because of waste and mismanagement. 200,000 homeowners were expected to take out interest free loans for energy saving initiatives but only 1,000 loans have been approved! The Government also planned to train 1,500 assessors but instead allowed a blow-out to over 11,500!
Now the loans have been cancelled and the auditors are left to investigate how much was rorted and wasted in the process.
Labor’s credibility on the envrionment is in tattters.
